Earlier this month, your Student Government Association held our first Student Organization Appreciation Day where we gave acknowledgement and recognition to all of the organizations on our campus for their hard work. This event was created by the Vice President of Programming Lauren Enea and the Programming Committee who all worked on putting the event together. Representatives from many organizations attended and received free food, gifts, and more! We cannot wait to hold this event again next year. Check out our photos below!
Earlier this week, SGA welcomed 2 new members to our family! The first is Rebecca Carlone, a Freshman on the Freshman Class Cabinet who will also serve on the Public Relations Committee. The second is Adam Davis, a Sophomore who will serve on the Sophomore Class Cabinet as well as the Public Relations Committee. The two individuals have worked hard to get these positions and we are more than excited to start working with them throughout this semester. Congrats to Rebecca and Adam!
The Big Event this year is taking place on April 6th and we are more than excited to get you involved! Quinnipiac’s Big Event is a co-sponsored event with the Student Government Association (SGA) and the Community Action Project (CAP). The Big Event was started 28 years ago at Texas A & M University and has grown to be the largest, one-day, student-run service project in the nation. It’s aim is to give back present students with the opportunity to say “Thank You” to residents of the surrounding communities. You can sign up on Qu.Collegiatelink.Net by copying and pasting the following link which takes you directly to the registration form: www.tinyurl.com/qubigevent
